The following "FAQ's" address issues brought up by parents to questions in our survey. (see list of questions at bottom of page)
Q. What's the best way to make sure I get used books in good
condition?
A. The earlier you order, the better chance you will have getting a good
used book. Earliest orders are filled with the best used books.
Q. I'd like to be able to pay for my order online; will that
be offered this year?
A.
Because of the uncertainty of the mix of used and new books in the filled
order, we cannot provide an exact total cost for the order. For that reason,
we do not offer online payment for books. Perhaps in the future we will
be able to incorporate online payment for orders of only new books.
Q. Can the store add earlier or later hours? ( e.g. open 7:00
a.m. or after 4:00 p.m. )
A. Most parents found last year' hours convenient,
but please contact Mrs. Schrader if you have special needs and she will
accommodate as much as possible.
Q. Can you post a list of parents who want to sell their books
on their own?
A. We offer the consignment system as a convenience
to parents; we don't have the resources to manage a separate listing.
Q. I like to buy books as soon as school is over, Can you start
selling earlier?
A. Sales begin in July for several reasons. First,
students do not receive their class schedules until July 1, and, second,
we do not receive the majority of new book orders until mid-July.
